Building the ships

Any great (or even just nice) voyage starts ashore, with building ships, plotting courses and stashing cargoes full of provisions.

At this time my brave wife is busy with… well, basically, all that – labouring over maps, addresses, distances – all the components of her family’s annual summer happiness.

This year’s adventure will be taking us to a few familiar and some new points on the European map. While subjecting ourselves to all safe inconveniences of a modern-day computer assisted, GPS navigated nomadity, we hope to reach central regions of Spain, after covering a uncounted number of hot, dusty, asphalt-clad kilometers, take a dip in the Mediterrhanean and head back to the cradle of civilization, Western Norway.
